January is pretty much over, but 2020 is in full swing. This year, you'll see seven (7) color trends. Kate Marilin doesn't follow "trends" because we want to bring you items you can continue to wear for longer than what a trend would last. However, color trends determine the colors that will be most available to us all. So, this is your heads up on the most likely colors you'll be seeing pretty much everywhere this year.
Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute said 2020's color palette "infuses heritage and tradition with a colorful youthful update that creates strong multi-colored combinations as well as energizing and optimistic pairings." That means those of you who love black will be taken out of our comfort zone with bold, bright, warm and energetic colors.
I am totally on board with color and love it! It just screams date night. Flame Scarlet gets a thumbs up from me.
Another "yes!". That may be because it mainly reminds me of denim, which I absolutely love. Either way, this color just gives me cool vibes. I'd want to wear it all Spring and Summer long.
I'm going to give this one a "no." I'm not a big fan of this color. But, I know a lot of you are, so you may see the boutique carry these colors.
I've always thought of Coral as a bright mix of pink and orange. This variation of Coral Pink I can definitely get on board with, it's a yes for me. It's the perfect mix of "pop of color" and an "earthy neutral."
Hmmm, definitely mixed feelings on Saffron. I love it sprinkled on a navy top, a floral navy top. I'd also wear this color sandals. I don't know that I would wear it on anything else. What do you think?
It's a dark green, so it gets a yes from me. Plus it reminds me of Olive Green, which is one of my all time favorite colors.
I am so glad they added a real neutral color. It literally goes with everything. You can't go wrong with white, so this one get's a "yes, of course yes" from me.
All in all, I am loving the color trend for 2020. What are your thought? Which one is your favorite?
