Q. An item I like is out of stock. Will you be getting anymore?
A. The great thing about shopping with a local boutique is you don't end up with the same items as 1000 other people, as you would buying from a big chain store. So, unless an item is flying off the shelves, we do not restock items. Sorry ladies. Best thing to do is sign up for a Restock Alert.
Q. How many items in each size do you normally carry?
A. We normally carry two (2) in each size available to us from our designers. From time to time, we will have access to only one of each size; in which case, we will let you know in the item description (*limited supply in stock).
Q. I am unsure of what size to buy, how can I get help with sizing.
A. We have created a Size Chart for reference. It is a general sizing chart. As size can vary depending on style and brand. If you need further assistance with sizing, please contact us via any of our social media platforms or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org
Q. I am hesitant to shop online. Do you have a physical store?
A. Currently we are an online boutique. We do however also have a mobile boutique, Kate, which you can find at events. You can also book Kate for private shopping.
Q. How do I find out which events the mobile boutique will be at?
A. We post our events on our Facebook & Instagram pages. We also announce it via email. You can sign up for our our newsletter here.

Q. Do you charge tax on all orders?
A. California State Law requires we charge tax on all orders, regardless of where the customer resides.
Q. How much will my taxes be?
A. Taxes are based out of our hometown, Hanford, CA. Currently our tax rate is 7.25%, which is the lowest rate in the STATE! However, some cities/state require we charge additional taxes (sorry, IRS says we have to).
Q. How do I know how much shipping will be?
A. We are now offering Free Standard Shipping within the U.S. We are also offering Free Local Pick-Up; as well as local delivery (Hanford/Lemoore) on orders over $50.00. Q. I want to know more about Local Pick-Up & Delivery.
A. If you opt for Local Pick Up, you will receive an email when your order is ready for pick up. The email will include the address & times for pick up. Your order will be available for said pick times for 30 days. After those 30 days, we will stop putting placing it in the pickup bin. You will have to contact us to arrange for a pick date/time. We stop putting it out because prolonged exposure to the weather causes the package to begin breaking down & therefore causing damage to your products. We want to preserve your items and our best to do so.
Local Delivery (Hanford/Lemoore) is only available on orders over $50.00.
We will NOT ship your item if you opt for Local Pick-Up. We will NOT deliver your order if you are outside of the Hanford/Lemoore Area, nor will we ship it if you have not met our $50.00 minimum. You will be notified via email.
Q. Do you offer International Shipping?
A. Currently we are unable to ship Internationally. It is definitely in our future plans though.
Q. I haven't received my order, what's happening?
A. We want you to receive your goodies as soon as possible, if that's not happening please let us know. Generally it takes 24-48 hours to process and ship your order. After that, shipping times are dependent on what shipping method you chose. Additionally, we will email you with a tracking number once your order has shipped. We have allotted 5-7 day standard shipping on orders that qualify for shipping. Although our policy allows for contingency time, we strive to get your order out much sooner than that. Q. How do I track my order?
A. Once we have processed your order, you will receive an email with a tracking number. You can use that number to track your order via USPS. If you can't find it, contact us & we will provide the tracking number to you.
Q. I want to leave a review, where & how can I review the boutique & products?
A. Approximately 15 days after placing your order, you will receive an email asking you review your products and the boutique. Once you submit your review, you will receive a 2nd email with a 5% off coupon code for your next purchase. So, keep an eye on your inbox. You may also leave a review on our Facebook Page. Reviews left on Facebook will not receive a coupon code, as there is no way for us to trace it to your unique email and account. Each coupon code is generated specifically for your unique email and account. Regardless of where you choose to write a review, we appreciate it very much!
Q. What is your return policy?
A. You can find our Return Policy here. You can easily process returns using this link. The link will allow you to create a shipping label & ship back to us. We will cover the initial cost. However, return shipping will be deducted from your store credit; unless there was a mistake on our part.
Q. What type of payments do you accept?
A. We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, Google Pay, and Amazon Pay. We also now have Sezzle, which allows you to make payments. During events, we will accept cash payments and all major credit cards. We do NOT accept checks or money orders.
Q. What is Sezzle?
A. Sezzle is a Buy Now, Pay Later program. It's a payment plan. Think of it as layaway, only you get your items before paying it off. Payments are made to the company, Sezzle, and not to Kate Marilin. Sezzle does not charge any interest on your orders. It is NOT a credit card.
Q. What is KKR?
A. KKR, Kate Kash Rewards, is our rewards program. Just as you earn rewards at your favorite coffee shop, you can also earn rewards with us. There are several ways to earn Koins and redeem them for rewards. No need to download an extra app; it's all done via our website.
